Tools and current information on virus protection.
Remember:
- Do not open ANY
file attached to an
email unless you know what it is, even if it appears to come
from a friend or someone you know. Confirm that they sent the attachment
before you open it.
- Update your Operating System and Anti-Virus Software frequently. (see
the library systems security page for
windows update information) Worms can spread through
security holes in your software (i.e. Blaster Worm) even if you don't
download any virus-infected files.
