The small business resource guide provides information about the
sources you will use to complete the small business assignment. The assignment
focuses on sources used to find information about businesses managed by the
owners or part owners. You will look at three sources which
are detailed below.
After you have finished reviewing the information in the resource guide you
can proceed directly to the small
business assignment or you can go to one or more of the guides listed below.
Small Business Administration is a
government agency that provides financial, technical and management assistance
to help Americans start, run, and grow their businesses.
Michigan Small Business & Technology Development Center is located
in the Seidman School of Business at Grand Valley State University which is
the home of the State Headquarters for the Michigan Small Business Development
Center network. This state center supports 12 regional offices and over 60 satellite
offices, each providing counsel and training to small business owners and entrepreneurs
throughout the 83 counties in Michigan.
Labelle Entrepreneurial Center at CMU is devoted to synergistically unite
CMU students and faculty, current and potential small business owners and other
business educators in central and northern Michigan, in a learning partnership
for the mutual benefit of all.
