Reserve ServicesCharles V. Park Library - Room 319-C Locating Materials on Reserve :Materials that are placed on reserve will be listed by the professors' name and course number. To locate your material you will need the title or author. Renewals:You my renew by bringing the material to the Reserve Desk. If materials are in demand the Reserve Staff has the right not to renew. Periodicals & Newspapers:Loose issues of periodicals, bound periodicals and newspapers can not leave the library. Material can not be held. Older issues of newspapers are stored behind the Reserve Desk, however not all newspapers are retained for more than two months. Things to Remember:You may check out a maximum of four items at once. Please return materials to the drop slots at the Reserve Desk. All Reserve materials are checked out on a first come first serve basis. There is no waiting list. Fines are paid at the Student Service Court located in the lower level of the Bovee University Center. Electronic Course Reserves:What does this mean? It means that a professor made a request to have some materials, for their course, scanned into the computer. We are able to provide electronic versions (PDF format) of non-copyrighted materials such as lecture notes, study questions, and old tests. To access your materials:
Course Reserve Requests:These forms are available for Central Michigan University faculty to request materials to put on reserve for their on-campus courses. Faculty teaching courses off-campus should contact the Off-Campus Library Services Document Delivery Office at 1-800-274-3838.
Public Copiers, Network Printers:Copies are $0.10 per page. Color copier, transparency, and 11 x 17 copier machines are located on 2nd floor North, and are priced differently. One change machine is located on each floor. It will take $1.00 & $5.00 bills. You may use your campus I.D. for copying or printing purposes. Directions for how to set up an account are located on the "ON CASH, ADD-VALUE STATIONS." Copiers and printers are shut down 15 minutes before closing.
