Use MeLCat to request materials from a growing number of libraries statewide.
- Search CENTRA for your book.
- If your book is not found or is not available, click on the "Search
MeLCat" button.
- When you find your title in MeLCat click on "Request this Item".
- Follow the on-screen directions to select your home library; then, enter your name and Campus ID number.
- You will be notified when the item arrives. Most items arrive within 3-5 business days.

- Search CENTRA for your book.
- Connect to WorldCat, and search by title for your book.
- Click on the book title. If there are multiple entries for the same book, choose the one owned by the most libraries.
- Click on the Find it! button.
- Follow the link to Request this item from another library.
- Check to make sure that all necessary information is included in the form, and then click the Submit Request button.
- You will be notified when the item arrives.
