If the materials are too large to carry in, please contact the Head of Collection Development at 989-774-6421 or casey1am@cmich.edu to arrange for a time for a staff member to meet you at the loading dock and assist you with transferring the material to the library. 4. IRS regulations do not allow an institution receiving a gift in kind to value that gift for tax purposes. Please list the approximate value of the donated materials on the Donation of Library Materials Form. If the value is $5000 or more, please attach a written appraisal to the form. 5.
