  • International Labour Organization
    Organization of member states designed to promote the adoption of humane conditions of labor.
  • International Monetary Fund
    Promotes international monetary cooperation, exchange stability, and orderly exchange arrangements; fosters economic growth and high levels of employment; and provides temporary financial assistance to countries to help ease balance of payments adjustment.
  • Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development
    The OECD groups 29 member countries in an organisation that provides governments a setting in which to discuss, develop and perfect economic and social policy.
  • United Nations
    Purposes, as set forth in the Charter, are to maintain international peace and security; to develop friendly relations among nations; to cooperate in solving international economic, social, cultural and humanitarian problems and in promoting respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms.
  • United Nations Industrial Development Organization

  • African Development Bank
    Regional multilateral development bank, engaged in promoting the economic development and social progress of its Regional Member Countries (RMCs) in Africa.
  • United Nations Economic Commission for Africa
    One of five regional commissions of the United Nations. Its purpose is to support the economic and social development of its member States, foster regional integration, and promote international cooperation for Africa's development.

  • American Economic Association
    Mission is encouraging economic research and freedom of economic discussion, and issuing publications.
  • Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean
    One of the five regional commissions of the United Nations. It was founded for the purposes of contributing to the economic development of Latin America. The promotion of the region's social development was later included among its primary objectives.
